How can I not miss the United States more than on the Fourth of July?
But in reality it is Vienna I am missing as I plan to leave this weekend for Germany. Really, the Viennese have been so very good to me I am internally distressed. Thankfully I have captured so much in photos to remind me but I have not concentrated on the people in my photos and of course so much of life is all about our connections. I must conquer my shyness :/.
Instead of barbecues and fireworks I am wrapping up my presentation this afternoon which is just before the conference closes out. My host Peter returns from London today so it is also a big day at the flat. I have plans to see the night supervisor Wayne at Cuadro, and hope to see Franco at Motto as well, as both have been kind and befriended me while here.
I made a few friends in Vienna, and of course, have fallen in love here.
